Thank you for your interest in Holistic Sands Psychology. Supporting children and young people is more often more successful when their parents/carers are involved. Understanding your child within the family system helps me provide the most effective support. I can also support you in supporting your child. Skills taught need to be practised when distress is not too high, it is often too hard to apply what I teach when the distress is too high. Your cooperation as their parents/carers benefits your child significantly. Please complete this form to the best of your ability.

Please be aware that submitting this form does not guarantee eligibility for this service. Once you have submitted the form, I will review this information to determine my suitability to provide services to you. This decision is based on my skills, strengths, and experience and your location. It does not reflect your value, worth, or need for support. Please allow up to 2 weeks between submitting the form and receiving contact from our admin team.

You may be eligible for a Medicare, NDIS or Private Health rebate to access this service.

Fees per 50-minute session from 1 July 2026

NDIS: Fees are set and reviewed annually by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA). These will come out of your NDIS Plan (Improved Daily Living).  There is no cost or gap fee for participants.  

Medicare: $210 - $250, you may be eligible for a refund of 101.55 with a valid Mental Health Care Plan from your GP. These fees count toward your safety net.

Private/Health fund: $210

Initial consultation 90 minutes: $300. 

Sessions may be up to 2 hours

Cancellation policy

Missed appointments, reschedules, and cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment will incur the full fee. This is in line with the recommendations for private practice from the psychology peak bodies (Australian Association of Psychologists inc, Australian Psychological Society). This policy is necessary to ensure that Holistic Sands Psychology can continue to operate as a small business.
